One of the reasons I got new glasses recently was that I did not have a backup pair, and I felt as if I were tempting fate everytime I took them off and on. Cool bear skull. I hadn't thought about the vulnerability of not having a second pair for a while. So when I read your post, I went "Eep! I don't have a spare pair either!" and then I thought "It's okay, I could wear my prescription sunglasses while my spectacles were being mended." Yay! ^_^ for your glasses being mended.
